Penny Dreadful File Folder Journal/Album Hybrid

Have you seen Penny Dreadful? It's a wonderfully dark show! It's the inspiration for today's project!

Hello ladies, and guys. I have another video for you today. This one is a flip through of my Penny Dreadful File Folder Journal/Album. It's one of the ones I made with the tutorial. I used an older paper collection by Recollections called Midnight Magic. I had a lot of fun with this one and I really love how it turned out. I hope you do too!

Vintage African Travel Journal

This is an African Travel Journal that I finished up today. I was super worried about using napkins but I so love it. I mod podged the napkin to medium weight chip board, then used some Tim Holtz ground espresso distress ink, then used a Krylon spray sealer so that it would protect the color. All the pages are coffee dyed and distressed. There's a few stamped and coffee dyed envelopes and tags with a fun assortment of ephemera. Please, let me know what you think!

G45 Bonicabella Altered Wooden Box (DT Project for butterbeescraps)

I've made a project featuring butterbeescraps metal embellishments and hardware. I've taken a wooden box that you should be able to purchase at your local craft store, then painted it black. I used a combination of different Guilders Paste/Wax colors around the edges of the box. I then measured the box and cut out paper from the Graphic 45 Bonicabella collection. I distressed the paper and then glued it down. From there I started to add my altered embellishments and hardware. Children's Book Junk Journal

This is a children's book that my son had taken a couple pages out of. I could not bare to throw it away so I turned it into a junk journal. There is a mixture of coffee dyed pages, journal cards, paper bags, envelopes, remaining story pages, and much more! This was such a fun project and I absolutely adore the images!

Tim Holtz Junk Journal

I was feeling major inspiration from Tim Holtz when I did this one! I used French Industrial and Easel paper, both craft and normal. The cover is made from the cardboard you get with in sheet packaging. I thought it would be perfect for a journal cover. I need to do more large journals! I'm out of easel paper though! O_o

Made my First Dream Catcher

I saw quite a few videos on this and this is what I came up with. I used a metal ring from Hobby Lobby, hand dyed Sari Ribbon, and artificial Sinew. I added beads, charms, fibers, lace, and chains. I had so much fun with this. I think I may need to make more, probably in themes! Did it turn out okay?
