Vintage File Folder Journal

Hello Everyone! 

Today, I wanted to share a simple File Folder Journal with you. It's a simple way to use your file folders and make something fun out of them. I mod podged tissue paper onto mine and then distressed it with some Tim Holtz Ground Espresso Distress Ink. I have a video on How to Alter Book Pages with Napkins if you would like to see how to make a cover like this one. I added elastic around the corners for a fun closure. The edges and textures have a light coat of Inka Gold to make them pop! I hope you enjoy!

Vintage Love Journal

What's up everyone?! Wanted to stop by and share another journal with you! This one is my Vintage Love Journal! I made it in my How to Alter Book Pages with Napkins Tutorial . I need to do some stamping on the tags though. (Let me know if you wanna see an updated flip through after I add some more embellishments and I will go ahead and do that.) I hope you like the flip through!

How to Alter Book Pages with Napkins Tutorial

Hello Everyone! I made a video on ways to use your napkins to alter book pages. It's fun and easy and there are so many options. You can make them into envelopes, journal pages, journal inserts! I know a lot of you have already applied this method to your crafting and it turns out beautiful! If you haven't done it before, or need a few ideas, hopefully this video can help. Graphic 45 ABC Primer Journal Hybrid

Here's my newest Journal. I used The Paper Addiction File Folder Mini Album tutorial and turned it into a journal hybrid. I used paper from Graphic 45 ABC Primer. Had lots of fun with this one. I really like it as a journal. Let me know what you think!

Just because I'm a Junk Journal Junkie!

I'm a Junk Journal Junkie! I started making journals a couple of years ago, and kept going. I've sent many away as gifts and swaps. I even sell some of them to help keep up with my hobby! Over time, I've accumulated quite a collection of journals. Today, I just wanted to share some photos of the journals I have. I hope to inspire fellow crafters to make some of their own.

Don't feel bad if you haven't made one yet, or you only have a couple. I started crafting out of a shoe box. Now, I have a collection of items that keep me more that busy. If you enjoy crafting, or just want to start we have a huge community over on Facebook! The group Junk Journal Junkies has kept me sane as well as helped me to find a place to belong. Being a part of a huge community of women and men (all over the world) who enjoy the same thing as me has been amazing! I hope to continue crafting, inspiring and meeting new people to share with!
