Large World Junk Journal (Butterbeescraps Design Team Project) #junkjournals

Hello! I hope everyone is having a great day! Today I wanted to share my Butterbeescraps Design Team Project with you! I used a large recycled cereal box for my cover and a lot of items that were gifted to me in order to put together this amazing junk journal! It has 3 signatures with a 5 hole pamphlet stitch for the binding. I used a number of charms from my stash, including a true vintage broken necklace, as well as a few fun ones from Butterbeescraps store to make the chunky charm on the spine. (#Sm Bronze Arrows) On the cover I put some mini gold metal embellishments on the book corners, and two golden filagrees on top and bottom (#011-G) I added some beautiful green glass rhinestones (#SS12 Olivine Flat Back) and a lovely white resin flower from my stash as the focal point. The closure is a Tim Holtz hardware die that I cut from leather and attached to some hitch fasteners (No Longer in Stock) from Butterbeescraps store! I really love those kinds of closures. If you would like some ideas for closures like this one Check out Butterbeescraps Blog HERE!

How to Stamp Your Tags!

How is everyone today?I wanted to do a quick post for you today on How to Stamp Your Tags. I've received quite a few questions on how I stamp my own tags, and so I made a video sharing just that. This method is just 1 of 2 of the ways that I like to do my tags! I really like both ways because no matter how you choose to do it, they always look great! Did I mention it's a great way to use those stamps you've been collecting?!

Here is a video that you can check out where I go into more detail, and share my process! I hope you enjoy!

Writing Prompts #3 (I Remember When...)

                                                            Hello everyone!
I have another writing prompt for you today! I'll be going over some memories and writing them down. These can be any memories you would like. For me, I talk a little bout a visit from my dad, a memory from when I used to babysit as a kid, and a few others. I did this a while ago and I read the memories I had from an old journal. I actually forgot a lot of them until I read them again. I really did enjoy reading and recalling old memories. It's amazing how much you forget, and the things you don't. This is a good way to make sure you save some fun moments or important moments you don't want to forget. I hope you all enjoy the video! Let me know if you have any questions, or if you have a writing prompt you would like me to do!

Writing Prompt #2

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far! I thought I would go ahead and post another writing prompt for you. This one involves mixed media, and a little bit of creativity. The prompt is to "feel what you're writing". Do something creative, whether its a little bit of stamping, some drawing, or mixed media! Whatever comes to you on this journal page is what I want you to do. There's no right or wrong way, no limit, just free form journaling. Just make sure you leave a little bit of space to write. Once you finish with you're creative part, journal one to two simple things about how you're feeling or something you are looking forward to! Make sure to have fun!
